PERSONAL TRAINING.

What should your body be capable of so that you feel resilient, confident, and free in your life?

Personal training is not just about looking “fitter.” It’s about building physical abilities that give you real freedom in everyday life. For me, this means being able to go on multi-hour hikes without having to think twice, lifting a 25-kilogram suitcase into the overhead compartment with ease, taking the stairs without losing my breath when the elevator is out of order, mastering pull-ups and push-ups with control and precision, and staying calm in stressful situations because I know my body won’t let me down.

Your fitness is the foundation for how freely you can move in the decades to come. Not just how long you live, but, more importantly, how well you live.

WHY PERSONAL TRAINING?

Training is full of myths. From “you have to do it this way” to “this is the best exercise,” advice is everywhere. In reality, the crucial question is rarely whether an exercise is good or bad, but why you are doing it. In personal training, you get a framework that helps you understand what you’re doing and why it works.

You learn to read your body better, manage stress and load intelligently, and build progress sustainably. What matters is not the next exercise, but clarity and structure instead of aimless trial and error. A deeper understanding of your own body helps you keep your musculoskeletal system resilient over the long term and recognize potential limiting factors like strength or mobility early on.

WHAT YOU CAN EXPECT FROM PERSONAL TRAININGS

Individualized instead of standard programs

Your body is unique. That’s why your training should be tailored to you—aligned with your daily life, your goals, and your current stress levels.

Structure with variety

Warm-up, exercise selection, progression. You receive principles, not just individual workouts.

Strength that shows in real life

We build strength, movement quality, and endurance in a way that makes you more resilient in everyday life.

In harmony with your nervous system

No drill sergeant with a whistle. Physical effort challenges your nervous system, so breathing, focus, and controlled load management are an integral part of the training.

LET ME INTRODUCE MYSELF

My name is Paul Sturm, and movement has never been just sport for me. As the son of two physiotherapists, the body was something I learned early on to understand, care for, and develop. Through children’s gymnastics and sports, football became a defining influence, including competitive time in the junior Bundesliga.

From this foundation grew a genuine fascination: how can a body become strong, fast, and resilient without losing mobility and long-term health?

I studied sports science at the German Sport University Cologne and deepened my knowledge through certifications as a fitness and health trainer, as well as a strength coach. International experience as a model further broadened my perspective: different cultures, different challenges, same performance pressure.

What I love about personal training is walking the path together—helping people feel strong, confident, and secure in their own bodies.

WHERE THE TRAINING TAKES PLACE

Personal training sessions take place at EVO Fitness Vienna 1090, Berggasse.
